The CLASH OF CLANS Arctic Open 2025 powered by YONEX is off to a strong start. Many European players have advanced to the second round on this opening day. The Super 500 tournament continues tomorrow with the remaining first round matches in men’s singles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles.

In women’s singles, it was a good day for Denmark – Mia Blichfeldt, Amalie Schulz, Line Christophersen, and Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt are all through to the second round. Czechia’s Tereza Švábíková also secured a big win, and so did Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba, who came through qualification before defeating home favourite Nella Nyqvist in a close three-game match. Other players also advanced through qualification and will first play in the main draw tomorrow.

In mixed doubles, several European pairs advanced. Oleksii Titov/Yevheniia Kantemyr, Mads Vestergaard/Christine Busch, Brian Wassink/Debora Jille, and Jesper Toft/Amalie Magelund were all winners today.
