The Dane, who is the defending champion at the tournament, secured a win in straight games against France’s Alex Lanier.

The French player had the lead in their head-to-head, but the Dane has now evened the score. The first game was close, ending 21-18, but Antonsen stepped up in the second, being sharper than his opponent and sealing the win with a more comfortable 21-14.

He has now secured his fourth podium finish of the year in the tour, and will battle Chinese Taipei’s Lin Chun-Yi, who’s currently 13 spots below him in the world ranking, for a spot in the final.
