Anders Antonsen has booked his spot in the semifinals of the TOYOTA Thailand Open 2025 with a straight-games win over Korea’s Jeon Hyeok Jin.

Their last encounter, just a few weeks ago at the Sudirman Cup, had gone the distance with Antonsen fighting through in three games. This time, the world number three was more in control.

Antonsen kicked off the match strong, dominating the first game 21-8. Jeon responded well in the second, finding rhythm and pushing Antonsen way more, but the Dane still sealed the match in straight games, winning the second game at 21-18.

In the semifinals, Antonsen will face eighth seed Lu Guang Zu from China, who has defeated fourth seed Kodai Naraoka from Japan, 21-15 21-15. Antonsen leads the head-to-head 2-0, but their last meeting was in 2023.

The other semifinal will be between Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn and Singapore’s Loh Kean Yew.
