Badminton Europe would like to invite its Member Associations (MA's) to apply for the 2014 BEC Regional Project funding. In 2013, Badminton Europe approved 12 Regional Projects all around Europe, which you can follow on our official Development website.

The aim of the BEC Regional Projects is:

- Encouraging MA’s to collaborate together
- Form a development initiative to enhance and raise the level of badminton in the different regions
- Knowledge exchange
- Create and establish long term training programmes / collaborations
- Set up the new educational structure in the region

Activities:

The project should be a collaboration of a minimum of 3 MA’s from the same region, organised as one of the below listed activities / the combination of more of the below listed activities:

· Training Camps for U13, U15, U17, and/or U19 players
· Coach education

For the 2014 BEC Regional Projects applications it is essential that collaborating MA’s confirm their agreement on collaboration at the time of applying. Badminton Europe is keen to ensure that cooperation between Member Associations take place at all stages of planning through to implementation of the activity.

It is essential that ALL cooperating Member Associations confirm their participation when submitting the project application form to Badminton Europe.

The timescale for the procedure:

06 August 2013 - Distribution of invitation
15 September 2013 - Closing date for applications
15 October 2013 - Decision on the funding allocation – the information letter to be send to the MA’s

Submission of the Application:

Please submit Regional Project applications using the Proposal Form attached to this letter, and return it to Spela Silvester, BEC Development and Events Assistant, at [email protected].

The submission deadline is Sunday, 15 September 2013.
