Badminton Europe Launches New Official Mobile App
Badminton Europe Confederation (BEC) has today launched its new official mobile app, Badminton Europe, marking the next step in the Confederation’s ongoing digital development. The app has been developed in cooperation with technology partner Stellis, who also collaborated with Badminton Europe on the launch of our new website in 2025.
The Badminton Europe app is designed to bring European badminton closer to fans by providing easy access to live data, results and content from across the continent. Available now on iOS and Android, the app offers a modern and user-friendly way to follow European competitions, players and rankings directly on mobile devices.
Key features of the app include live match updates, access to livestreaming of European Championships and the European Circuit tour, rankings updated weekly, and personalised content that allows users to follow their favourite players and events. The app is directly connected to the Badminton World Federation’s data systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
The launch of the app builds on the digital foundation introduced with the new Badminton Europe website in April 2025. Together, the website and app strengthen how Badminton Europe communicates with fans, athletes, officials and stakeholders, while creating a more consistent and accessible digital experience across platforms.
A Unified Ecosystem: Website, App, Data Hub, and Automation
The core of this transformation is the seamless integration between four critical components, all powered by Stellis One technology:
1. The BEC Data Hub: Acting as the "brain" of the ecosystem, this advanced middleware integrates directly with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Data Hub. It synchronizes real-time data regarding tournaments, rankings, and player statistics, ensuring that fans always have access to the most accurate information.
2. The New BEC Website: A central digital hub featuring a "Fan Zone," and "Corporate Section." It hosts a massive database of over 27,000 player profiles, complete with match analysis tools and interactive tournament brackets.
3. The BEC Mobile App (Available Today): Brings European top badminton directly to fans' pockets. Key features include a Live Match Centre with live scoring, tailored personalization for following favorite players, and media integration with BEC TV.
4. Stellis One Marketing Automation: A powerful addition to the ecosystem that allows BEC to deliver personalized communication and automated campaigns, ensuring the right content reaches the right fan at the right time.
Strategic Partnership for Digital Excellence
This project goes beyond a visual refresh; it is a strategic overhaul of how BEC interacts with its stakeholders.
“We are thrilled to partner with Badminton Europe to create a next-generation digital solution for the badminton community,” said Łukasz Gąsiorowski, CEO of Stellis. “This project proves the power of the Stellis One platform. We didn't just build a website or an app; we delivered a complete digital transformation. By implementing our 'All-in-One' approach, we have interconnected the BEC Website, Data Hub, Mobile App, and Marketing Automation into a single, efficient organism. This integration allows for automated data flow from global sources directly to the fans' screens, creating a unique and engaging user experience.”
Brian Agerbak, General Secretary of Badminton Europe, said:
“With the launch of our new app, we are taking an important step towards making European badminton more accessible for fans. The app allows us to deliver relevant content and live information in a simple and modern way, while also supporting our broader digital strategy.”
The app launch represents the first version of the mobile platform, with further improvements and additional features planned as part of Badminton Europe’s continued digital development.
