The biggest badminton stars head to Odense to compete at the VICTOR Denmark Open 2025.
Continuing the year's second European leg of the World Tour, we are now heading to the prestigious Super 750 Denmark Open. Expectations for Europe are high — coming off the recent Ben Lane/Sean Vendy triumph at the Arctic Open, we wonder what Europeans might conquer next. Defending champion Anders Antonsen and Odense native Viktor Axelsen are both facing tough draws in their opening matches: Antonsen will play against Anthony Ginting and Axelsen against Chou Tien Chen.
The big international stars such as Shi Yu Qi, An Se Young, and Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei are all playing on day one, joined by European stars such as the Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva in women’s doubles. Do they have one last triumph left in their career as a pair? If they do, it would be even more special, as they are facing the best men’s pair in the world. They will have to play perfectly — but as we know from experience, they always deliver an entertaining bout.
