Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje secured their place in the final of the YONEX-SUNRISE India Open 2026 after a huge semifinal win against world number two pair Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.

After losing the opening game, 16-21, the Danes responded with a grand performance, winning the second and third games, 21-14, 21-14. This is their best result at Super 750 level since their comeback last year.

In tomorrow’s final, Christiansen/Bøje will meet Thailand’s Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran.
