The road to the 2026 European Men’s and Women’s Team Championships has officially begun!

The final stage of the event will take place from 11–15 February 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, but before we get there, the qualification process will determine which nations earn the right to compete for the prestigious titles.

Entries to the qualification rounds are now open for European member associations. The entry deadline is 10 July 2025, after which the number of participating nations and qualification groups will be confirmed. A total of six spots are available in both the men’s and women’s events.

The final tournament will feature eight teams in each category. As of now, we already know two of the qualified nations: Denmark, by virtue of being the defending champions in both men’s and women’s, and Türkiye, as the host nation.

The draw for the qualification events will take place on 16 July 2025, after which the host countries for each group will be decided. The qualification stage is scheduled for 3–7 December 2025, unless alternative arrangements are made.
