England’s men and Estonia’s women are the first teams to qualify for the European Men’s & Women’s Team Championships 2026 in Istanbul.

England secured first place in Men’s Group 1, while Estonia topped Women’s Group 5. With this result, Estonia eliminated the 2024 silver medallists Spain from the qualification. This also means that Estonias womens will atend the finals for the first time in the history. 

England delivered a dominant performance throughout their group, finishing with an impressive match record of 14 wins and just one defeat.

The remaining groups will be decided on Saturday and Sunday, after which all the nations that will compete for the European team titles in February will be known.
