The FZ FORZA Future Series Nouvelle-Aquitaine 2025 has kicked off today in Pessac, a suburb of Bordeaux, in southwestern France, and will be taking place until Sunday, 6th of July. The Future Series tournament started today at 9am with qualification matches.

The tournament features plenty of European talent. In men’s singles, Croatia’s Aria Dinata, bronze medallist at this year’s European Championships, leads the seeding, followed by last week's YONEX Italian Open 2025 champion Ditlev Jaeger Holm, Denmark. In women’s singles, France’s own Anna Tatranova is the top seed, while Ireland’s Rachael Darragh is the second seed.

There’s strong representation from the hosts across the five disciplines, with Valentin Singer seeded third and Sacha Leveque fourth in men’s singles, plus many French pairs looking to shine on home soil.

Other top seeds include Daniel Franco/Rodrigo Sanjurjo in men’s doubles, Bulgaria’s Mihaela Chepisheva/Tsvetina Popivanova in women’s doubles, and Egypt’s Adham Hatem Elgamal/Doha Hany in mixed doubles.

Also in the mix is Slovakia’s Milan Dratva from the RSL BEC High Performance Centre.

  • Saturday, 5th of July: Quarterfinals at 10 AM, semifinals from 3 PM
  • Sunday, 6th of July: Finals
