The draw for the qualification stage of the 2026 European Men's and Women's Team Championships has now taken place. We now know the groups for the countries that will compete for a place at next year’s main event, scheduled for 11 to 15 February 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
In the men’s competition, Türkiye qualifies automatically as host nation, with Denmark and France also securing direct entry to the final stage. Denmark by being the title holders and France as being the number one seed in the qualifiers. In the women’s event, Türkiye and Denmark are guaranteed places in the final tournament. This means that five additional nations will qualify on the men’s side and six on the women’s side through the qualification events.

The qualification events are scheduled to take place from 3 to 7 December 2025, unless alternative arrangements are made.
