The AIG VICTOR Irish Open 2025 begins on the 12th of November in Dublin, and home favourite Nhat Nguyen will again lead the men’s singles field as top seed.

Nguyen has won the Irish Open the last two years, and now has the chance to make it a historic three in a row on home soil. The Irishman arrives with confidence after a solid season on the European circuit.

“It’s a very strong men’s singles field, but I feel excited, nervous, all emotions when playing at home,” Nguyen said. “There is definitely a chance for history, but my mindset is the same — take it one match at a time.”

The men’s singles category features a competitive group with several seeded European challengers looking to stop Nguyen’s home run. But the Irish star says he tries not to add pressure from past results.

“All I can do is take one match at a time and not get ahead of myself. But I’m aware the possibility is there.”

Play begins on the 12th of November at the National Indoor Arena in Dublin.
