The inaugural edition of the 1st Hungarian Future Series 2026 presented by Victor gets underway this week, marking a new addition to the Badminton Europe Elite Circuit calendar.

From 1st–4th April, players from across Europe and beyond gather in Pécs, Hungary, to compete across all five disciplines at the Badminton Centrum.

As a BWF Future Series event, the tournament offers valuable ranking points and an important platform for emerging talents to make their mark on the international stage.

Home hopes will largely rest on top seed Agnes Korosi, who enters the women’s singles draw as the player to beat. Backed by local support, Korosi will be aiming to deliver a strong performance and capture the title on home soil in what would be a memorable moment for Hungarian badminton.

The action begins on Wednesday with qualification rounds, followed by the main draw from Thursday. The tournament then progresses to the quarterfinals and semifinals on Friday, before culminating in the finals on Saturday.

With a mix of rising stars and experienced competitors, the first edition of the Hungarian Future Series promises an exciting few days of badminton in Pécs.

All matches will be streamed on badmintoneurope.tv bringing the action to fans across the continent.
