All the athletes who will receive medals on Sunday have now been decided. Now it is only a question of which colour those medals will be.
It has been a big day of badminton, full of emotions, highs and lows. Here are some of the quotes from the day:
“We are playing with no fear and enjoying it. That’s the most important thing, we are having a lot of fun out there.” – Estelle Van Leeuwen on their approach this week
“It is really, really special for us.” – Callum Hemming on reaching the mixed doubles final
“It’s just many things. Amalie and I have had a fantastic partnership. We should be very proud. We’re standing here with tears in our eyes because we both know what’s coming next.” – Jesper Toft on his final match with Amalie Magelund
“Since we last stepped on the podium at the Europeans, we have probably won three tournaments. We came into this tournament with a lot more experience under our belt. Our eyes are definitely on the gold medal.” – Sean Vendy
“It could have been better. It’s a bit frustrating, but at the same time I feel like I gave everything today. I couldn’t change my game, I couldn’t be better, and that’s how it is sometimes. He played well, he deserved the win. Tactically, he was better than me. He definitely deserves this.” – Alex Lanier on his quarterfinal and his opponent Arnaud Merkle
“I am super happy. I knew I needed to show my A-game, and I am very proud of the way I did it.” – Arnaud Merkle
“It feels great to be on court and win with your brother, two medals and a chance to play for the finals. The one we really want tomorrow is the men’s doubles. In men’s singles we’ve already secured a spot in the final, but in men’s doubles we really want to be back on this stage on Sunday.” – Toma Popov
“We are very proud of the week so far and proud to be on the podium.” – Alexandra Bøje
"Knowing that there's a medal for Scotland on the boards is already a big check. And it's my job to go and enjoy tomorrow. And that's where my best badminton is played." - Kirsty Gilmour on tomorrows semifinal
