The KAWASAKI Slovak Open 2026 has just kicked off in Bratislava, Slovakia, with matches already on for the opening day at the Future Series tournament. The event is taking place from Wednesday 6 to Saturday 9 May.
Home hopes will largely rest on RSL BEC High Performance Centre player Milan Dratva in the men’s singles, as the top seeded Slovak player looks to make a strong run on home soil. In the women’s singles, Bulgaria’s Gergana Pavlova is one of the top players in the women’s singles draw as second seed.
Belgium’s Iljo van Delsen/Yaro van Delsen enter the tournament as the top seeds in men’s doubles, while Slovenia’s Anja Blazina/Ariana Korent are the top pair to beat in women’s doubles. Slovenia also tops the mixed doubles draw with Miha Ivančič/Anja Jordan – a great warm-up for the Slovenian ahead of the I FEEL SLOVENIA LI-NING Open 2026, taking place next week.
Today it’s all about qualification matches, before the main draw starts tomorrow.
