The action doesn’t slow down on the European Circuit. This week, the focus is on Maribor for the I FEEL SLOVENIA LI-NING Open 2025. This International Series tournament will have more than 300 players from 41 countries, all ready to compete from Wednesday 14 to Sunday 18 May at the Dras Center in Slovenia’s second-largest city.
Among the names to watch are Denmark’s Mads Christophersen and Magnus Johannesen, as well as Sweden’s Gustav Björkler in the men’s singles. In women’s singles, Vivien Sándorházi leads the draw as top seed, joined by Gergana Pavlova and Freya Redfearn among the European contenders.
The doubles disciplines also feature some strong entries. England’s Oliver Butler/Samuel Jones, already bronze medallists twice on the Circuit this year, will be back in action, along with Swiss pair Lucie Amiguet/Caroline Racloz and Swedish duo Ludwig Axelsson/Malena Norrman.
For the home crowd, several Slovenian players are already in the main draw, ready to give their all on home soil – including Miha Ivančič, Anja Blažina, Ariana Korent, Gal Bizjak/Maj Poboljšaj, Anja Jordan/Kim Matovič, and many more will be looking to make their way through qualification, which begins on Wednesday.
