The World Tour’s busy Asian leg continues this week with the DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters 2026, taking place at the iconic Istora Senayan in Jakarta.
As a Super 500 event, the tournament kicks off with qualification rounds, where there will be some European players, including Spain’s Rubén García / Lucía Rodríguez, Denmark’s Amalie Schulz, and Belgium’s Julien Carraggi.
The main draw has a mix of opportunities and challenges for Europeans. Nhat Nguyen will face fourth seed Chou Tien Chen, Polina Buhrova will meet top seed Chen Yu Fei, and Denmark’s Daniel Lundgaard/Mads Vestergaard will play their opener against Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik.
There are also strong contenders who could have more chances. Second seed Anders Antonsen, will first face Canada's Brian Yang. Ben Lane/Sean Vendy had a strong finish at the Malaysia Open with a bronze medal less than two weeks ago, while Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje will go back on court after finishing as runner-ups at the India Open.
Matches begin tomorrow with the qualification rounds, followed by first-round men’s and women’s doubles matches. Matches start at 8am local time (2am CET). Stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.
