Europe celebrated two titles at the TOYOTA Thailand Open 2026 on Sunday, with Anders Antonsen winning the men’s singles final and Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje lifting the mixed doubles title.

For Antonsen, it was a memorable win against home favourite Kunlavut Vitidsarn in a repeat of last year’s final. The Thai player, champion in both 2023 and 2025, looked in control after taking the opening game, but the Dane made a great comeback to win 9-21 24-22 21-18 after one hour and 37 minutes.

“It feels so incredible. I'm lost for words right now,” said Antonsen after the victory. “Last year was insane as well but to get the win this year feels incredible.”

The title marks Antonsen’s biggest World Tour result of the year so far, after taking bronze at the Super 1000 Malaysia Open in January.

In mixed doubles, Christiansen/Bøje finally turned one of their good World Tour tournament runs into a title after previously reaching three finals this year.

The Danish pair won against China’s Zhu Yi Jun/Li Qian in yesterday’s final to secure the title and, in doing so, became the first Danish mixed doubles pair to win the Thailand Open since 1997.

“We definitely didn't expect to win the tournament at the start of the week,” said Bøje. “Really, really proud and super happy.”

“It means a lot,” Christiansen added. “It's not normal for us to just win a Super 500 title. We didn't expect that at all.”

The winners will now travel to Kuala Lumpur for the PERODUA Malaysia Masters 2026, where an even larger European group will join the Asian leg of the World Tour.
