The SUWON VICTOR Korea Open 2025 kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd September, at 3:00 AM (CEST). The Super 500 tournament is the final stop before the European leg of the World Tour and while there’s not a strong European presence, several names are still in the mix.

Some players will have to fight their way through the qualification rounds, including Denmark’s Magnus Johannesen, Mads Christophersen, and Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje, Ukraine’s Yevheniia Kantemyr, Czechia’s Jiří Král/Ondřej Král.

In the main draw, Anders Antonsen, the men’s singles top seed, will face a qualifier in his opening round. Also competing in men’s singles is Ireland’s Nhat Nguyen, who has a tough opener against eighth seed Weng Hong Yang.

In women’s singles, Ukraine’s Polina Buhrova will face Thailand’s Supanida Katethong, while Czechia’s Tereza Švábíková will face Chinese Taipei’s Pai Yu Po. Buhrova and Kantemyr will also play together in women’s doubles, opening against Korea’s Jang Eun Seo/Kim So Yeong. Švábíková will be pairing up with Ondřej Král in mixed doubles against China’s Gao Jia Xuan/Wu Meng Ying.

The qualification rounds and most of the first-round matches in men’s and women’s doubles will be played tomorrow. You can see the full order of play here.
