The YONEX Luxembourg Open 2025 is just around the corner. The fourth edition of the tournament is kicking off tomorrow, taking place from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 May. You can follow all the action live on Badmintoneurope.tv.
There will be plenty of European talent competing for the titles. In men's singles, Israel's Danil Dubovenko leads the seeding, while in women's singles, Yvonne Li is seeded third and will play her first match against Luxembourg's Kim Schmidt, who is also a part of the High Performance Centre from Badminton Europe.
Men’s doubles top-seeded English pair Oliver Butler/Samuel Jones and women’s doubles second seeds Tea Margueritte/Flavie Vallet are among the favourites.
In mixed doubles, Spain's Ruben Garcia/Lucia Rodriguez enter as the top seeds and could face an exciting first match against Germany's Marvin Seidel/Thuc Phuong Nguyen. Seidel returns to mixed doubles after many years, forming a new partnership that will be interesting to follow.
